Cape Talk SPCA Wiggle Waggle

Went to my first walk-a-thon today. We had to get up at the crack of dawn to make it there in time to enter (and I must add that I am not a morning dog). All in all it was so much fun, and I got to take home a bag of treats... check out all the action from earlier today. A doggy day at Big Bay

It was a glorious day today and what better way to celebrate finally coming off heat, than going to the BEACH!!!! You will not believe it , but I have put on at least 2kgs in the 3 weeks that I have been stuck at home (punishment for being a woman). Anyways, mom has decided that we are going to do the Cape Talk Wiggle Waggle walk-a-thon tomorrow (I think she also needs to lose some of that winter blubber... but don't tell her I said so)... Dude, I am so super stoked at the idea of finally getting to check out the larny Southern Suburb talent! Woooof :P (Links: Blouberg, Blue Peter)

A Namibian farm holiday

In October we went on another adventure... and visited dad at the farm in the Gobabis district of Namibia. It was a loooong drive, and I slept the whole way on mom's lap. On this trip I discovered something new about myself... I'm a speed junkie and must've been a racing car driver in my past life - check out all the foto's of me on the quad bike, the Rhino, and the tractor. Unf, I couldn't go with to Harnas 'cos I tend to chase everything that moves (size is not an issue with me, never has been... I'm a Jack Russell for pete's sake). Anyway, mom didn't want me to hurt any of the wild lions and cheetahs that live at Harnas, so I stayed behind and romped around with my boyfriends (2 gorgeous rhodesian ridgebacks). Somedog has to be the responsible one and look after the farm. Woof :P

Middle of winter... can you believe it!

What an awesome day. Hot, not a breath of wind - absolutely perfect beach weather... the sea was unusually flat and to top it all, the tide was low... pity about the smog, but then you can't have everything!

Namibia - Sand dunes!

Found this photo while looking for pics of my cousins... really brings back memories. I was only 5 months old. We had so much fun in Swakopmund Namibia! I would loooove to go back there! This photo is of me, my mom and uncle Grant (Chelsey & Arthur's dad).

"I'm King of the World!"

Oops, I mean Queen! The wind was howling today so instead of going to the beach and getting sandblasted, we took a drive to the other side of the mountain, to a popular doggy walking paradise... We used to come here often when I was little and were staying with cousin Chelsey (golden labrador). We had sooo much fun :P

I know it's freezing, but this is really embarrassing...

I am TWO!!!

I turned 2 on monday 26th! We went for a long walk on the beach and then had pizza and ribs at a really cool spot down the road. I like my presents (we played with them on the beach)... but stones are still my bestest! If you look closely at the foto of me and dad, you'll see my stone on the table. I'm not letting it out of my sight!

Langebaan

My dad's been down for a whole week from Namibia, so I've been going to the beach EVERY day... Yesterday we drove a long way in the car to a place called Langebaan (up the Cape West Coast). We spent all afternoon on the beach and ate lots of pizza. I met a very funny dude (see foto) - his tongue kept hanging out the one side. I hope I don't lose my teeth when I'm older.

Today was my first trip to the beach in 2 and a half loooong weeks (I've been on heat so have been in solitary confinement). Look at my face - I had a WOOF of a time :P

Just had a bath and got rid of that rogue flea (was even rewarded with a yummie biscuit for my troubles). Now it's time for some shut eye...

Toys

These are some of my favourite toys. Panda's not quite as fat as he used to be, I think it's because I made a little hole in his tummy... Oops!

I've had my Pooh bed since I was only 6 weeks. I will never get rid of it.

At Harnas Wildlife Farm in Namibia

When we were living in Namibia, we used to visit our neighbours...(Harnas) they always had new orphaned animals to play with. They smelt a bit strange, but mom told me it's because they are wild and not "domesticated" like us. I'm so lucky to have had a good upbringing.

Fudge and me

This is my boyfriend Fudge. He's really naughty and always gets me into trouble. He's so naughty that he's been banished from his mom's house (was too playful with the neighbours chicken...) anyway when he's not visiting us, he stays with his stepdad.
